Warranty Question posted December 6, 2014 by Jamie Olivier
    Question:
I have the RZ4824F and tried to remove the belt from the deck as per manual and video on Husqvarna site so I could clean underside. With deck in lowest position idler assembly is against the iso bushing and can not be moved. With deck all the way up it hits iso bushing and still there is not enough clearance to remove the belt. I removed the iso bushing and tried with deck up and down to remove belt. Idler assembly hits on deck frame. I dropped the deck anyway then removed the belt did my clean up of the underside. Now I see that the belt is too short. I guarantee that someone at the factory rolled no pried the belt onto a bunch of mower decks. I posted a question @ answer army 5 days ago and received no answers. I see no other way to contact them. I went to the belt store in Lafayette, LA. They gave me 3 belts to try a B133 measures 5/8 x 136”, B134 measures 5/8” x 137” and B135 measures 5/8” x 138”. They do not offer belts in ½” increments. Original belt 539109243 measures 5/8” x 135.5”. The B135 fits as manufacture states in manual and as per video on website. I am contacting you so that you may bring the problem to their attention. They can issue a recall on the belts or whatever they have to do before these mower decks start slinging spindles or pulleys possibly hurting someone. I have attached pictures with original belt so that you may see the problem for yourself. I purchased this mower February 2014 from Stine’s in Broussard, Louisiana. I am sure it will be a lot cheaper for them to issue new correct belts than pay for warranty repairs or maybe even hospital bills. This email has been sent to every service center in south Louisiana I can find. No one replied as of yet.

Warranty Question posted November 1, 2012 by Doug Cottrell
    Question:
I purchased my zero turn RZ5424 in September 2011, and have just experienced my 3rd warranty problem with the unit.First after less than 10 hrs, a rear tire seperated and exploded. Second, the left side transmission drive gears went completely out. And now the 3rd, a deck pulley has come loose and cut into the deck mount where it joins the frame. How many more issues are going to be allowed before this unit is recalled, and I am given a whole new unit. So far no injuries have occured with these issue, but how lucky can one customer be. I would very much like another unit to try and restore my faith in Husqvarna. Thank you, and by the way this unit still has less than 60 hrs on it.And on top of all that, I have to pay $50 dollars each time the unit has to be repaired, for transportation to and from the dealership. OUCH

Warranty Question posted May 4, 2012 by Fred DAVIS
    Question:
I just purchased an RZ4623 zero turn mower.

I went on line to register the warranty and it requires the serial number of the mower.

I could not find it anywhere on the mower.

I called the toll-free number and spent about 30 minutes with them telling me it is on a label under the seat.

It is nowhere to be found.

No label, no number etched into the frame, etc.

    Can you help me?

    Thanks!

Warranty Question posted November 19, 2011 by Doug Cottrell
    Question:
I purchased a RZ5424 zero turn mower on September 24th, of this year, and today i walked in my garage to use it and found a baseball size knot on one of the rear tires. This mower only has 7.3 hours on it and isn't even a full 2 months old. I have looked all thru the warranty papers and could not find anything that says the tires are not covered, so i am wondering what kind of coverage the tires fall under. Thank you for any help.

Drive belt jumping off of pulleys....Answeredescalated3
Warranty Question posted March 27, 2012 by Ronald Schmiege
    Question:
Drive belt jumping off of pulleys.
    Model=RZ4623,ID=966764501
    Serial #: 041211C002523
    Purchased 5/26/11
I am having trouble with the drive belt jumping off the pulleys, even at slow speeds while turning. I bought the RZ4623 from a local Lowes and they know nothing about the mower. They didn't even have it set up correctly when they delivered it. I had to connect the seat interlock safety switch and go back to them for bolts to connect the seat to the mower deck. I'm an automotive engineer so I can follow instructions pretty well if you can deal with me directly. It seems the spring applying force to the idler pulley is too weak to keep the belt from developing a wave large enough to jump the lip of the pulley when I try to turn. It only jumps every other week or so, but the mower only has 9 hours on it.

Warranty Question posted July 14, 2016 by Dennis Teer
    Question:
I purchased a Z248F on 3/27/2015 and the mower currently has 28.8 hours. On 7/3/2016 I could not mow for the holiday because the drive pulley melted off (see picture of pulley). I took the Mower to the dealer I purchased from and they replaced the part under warranty and I also had the break in oil changed. If this is an engineering defect will Husqvarna improve this part to avoid this in the future (Bad Boy has already upgraded this same part to metal) so customers can feel at ease? In this case if it is not to be upgraded can customers believe Husqvarna should allow all mowers using this part be allowed to purchase the extended warranty without their stipulations noted.

Warranty Question posted June 22, 2018 by Ernest Campbell
    Question:
I recently purchased a Z254F mower with a Kohler engine from Amazon that was DOA. When I tried to start the engine, the starter would not engage and it blows the fuse. Our local dealer, L&S Small Engine Repair, refuses to do warranty work on items bought on line. Is this a Husqvarna poilicy? How do I get my mower repaired?
