I think this is responsible for the massive shudder when engaging the blade and un-even cutting. The adjustment nut on the linkage for leveling instructions in the manual is already fully seated and can't raise the right side any more as needed. Help.
Eddie- Question:I just go my new Weedeater one July 5, 2010 at Walmart and when I got it home it would not start for battery but did start manually. I thought the battery was low because it was out in the open at Walmart. I fiqured that when I mowed with it the battery will charge back up. I mowed today and after I got my lawn mowed the battery would not start the mower. I took the battery off and checked the voltage it was low, So I trickle charged for about 3 hours and the voltage was at 12v. Installed back on the mower when I put the red wire on the battery it was trying to start even though the key was not in mower. It quit trying to start after 1 or 2 minutes and the battery was back low again and wold not start with the key but did with the manual rope. What is the problem? I can't take it back to Walmart Because my 15 days are up. We do have 2 service centers in town accordng to your website. Should I contact them for warranty. This is my 1st Riding mower and I have 2 Weedeater push mowers That have served me well. So I thought The Weedeater One would be the one. Can you Help Me?
- Question:I just purchased a Weed Eater One, and out of the box I have concerns. My biggest concern is a loud rattling that comes from under the engine while it's in drive. When I push the clutch/brake in the rattling goes away. It sounds like a clanking noise. This happens whether the mower blades are engaged or not. Also, when I engage the blades, the machine shakes and the engine almost stalls. I've also noticed the engine sputters quite a bit. I'm assuming (hoping) none of this is normal? Did I get a lemon?
- Question:Does the WEO come with a mulching blade. I just received my deflector shield and was wondering if i should wait for a mulching blade, which is on order, before I use my shield?
- Question:I have a rider mower. The nylon (plastic) gear that fits on the steering shaft is not stout enough to hold up under the pressure to turn the mower. I've only had mine for 3 months and it's alread wallowed out. Are there any plans to reinforce the inside of the gear or put a dowell through it to help sturdy it up?
- Question:This is a follow up question about the same problem concerning the deck lift assy on the WEO.I have a new part (429395)that I recieved from Sears direct.I now have the part numbers for 3 of the 4 parts needed to make a complete left assy.I still need the part number for the flexible rod connecting the plunger to the locking pin.Or is there a part number for a complete lift assy??I also hope there will be some instructions on how to assemble these parts.

I recently replaced the steering wheel adapter to fix the steering problem but now faced with this new one. Can someone please tell me what I need to do fix the problem?

I have a Weed Eater One 26" riding mower that has been very dependable until last week. The battery is okay and it cranks like usual, but will not fire/start. Trying the, pull starter rope, was not successful. Since it was okay last week I am hoping it might be a sensor or connection problem. I have gone through the manual, with no luck, trying to solve the no-start problem. Based on your experience, could give me some logical steps of things to check next? Bringing it to a dealer is not an option for me. Please help...

Details:
I serviced the mower 2 months ago. Changed the oil, new spark plug and checked the air filter. No problems starting at that time.
