Service & Maintenance Question posted May 7, 2013 by Lee Olson
    Question:
I have a 125B blower for two years now, only used in the summer. The end of last year, i started having trouble with it. When it is cold it will start using the proper procedure. When it warms up and you shut it off, it will not start, until it is completely cool. i have used the best plugs in it and they are gapped proper. The fuel is mixed as required, and air cleaner clean. What do you think ? Lee Olson

    Question:
Has anyone had any issues were there piston locking and not compressing.
    Details:

My husband and I are very dissapointed with Husqvarna. We bought our backpack blower in December of 2010 (which makes us a few months past our warranty), but this Spring when my husband went to start it, it would not start. We have really only used the product for 7-9 months (2 Summers) and now the product won't work at all and customer service told us "sorry, but there is nothing we can do".  We are wondering if anyone has ever had this issue before and if there is a way to fix it, that doesn't cost as much as a new backpack blower. We are ready to just through it away and never buy from Husqvarna again.

    Question:
I have purchased 4 different 150b blowers and they will run 20-30 seconds then die. This is with running the premix fuel purchased at the same time to extend the warranty. I have contacted customer support and the best thing they could offer was to take to service center when purchasing for a adjustment. Does Husqvarna have a quality control department that actually test these units before sending them out? Seems strange to have to power equipment in immediately after buying it.

Problem with service from selling dealer1

    Question:
Problem with service from selling dealer
    Details:

purchased a 570bts from my local dealer. I upgraded from a 350bt purchased from the same dealer. While using my 570 in the winter to clear light fluffy snow from my driveway the blower started suffereing from, by all indications, a fuel starvation issue. While running at anything over half throttle it almost quit until the throttle was returned to idle. It would idle fine. The longer it sat at idle the longer you could run it at higher rpm’s until the same issue would happen again. Rinse, wash, repeat. When using it this last fall it worked perfectly. Could go thru a full tank at full throttle without a hiccup. My 350 never had this issue even while using it when the temps were below zero. Dropped off at my dealer early Feb.  Did not hear from them for about three weeks so stopped by.  Said he will get to it Monday. That was three weeks ago and still no word. It’s now past mid March. He’s had it for over six weeks and all I have to show is a claim receipt. Dealers name, p/n, s/n available upon request. Purchased 10-20-2017.

Service & Maintenance Question posted June 9, 2014 by Matthew Shahnavaz
    Question:
I purchased a 125B blower on 5/21/12 and noticed oil oozing out of the bottom of the unit. It wasn't too bad so I pretty much ignored it until it became more frequent and noticeable. I took it in for warranty repairs on 5/28/13. The service dealer took off the cover, cleaned the oil, tightened bolts, replaced cover, adjusted carb. This put the unit back into the condition it was when I bought it... small intermittent oil oozing. Now it is back to consistent and heavier leaking.
Where could this oil be coming from and what is the cause/fix?
Since it is a known issue with my unit will warranty still apply for repairs?
I misplaced the original sales receipt, but do have dealer service order where they noted the original purchase details and the first warranty repair for this issue.

I have had my Model 125B for 2 years...a gift from my kids....escalated
Service & Maintenance Question posted March 27, 2014 by freedave69
    Question:
I have had my Model 125B for 2 years...a gift from my kids. It worked fine until last fall when it started cutting out and then not starting at all. I have always started Spring with a new sparkplug, new gas and Husqvarna oil mixture and so on. I took it to an authorized dealer today and he said that Husqvarna has been giving him problems covering this type of thing. The carb gets gummy and they blame it on the gas. I used good gas and have not abused this blower. It is well maintained. He told me they started recommending a gas/oil mixture sold in a can that costs like $7-8. This supposedly allows you to extend the warranty. This didn't exist when I got my blower and I would like Husqvarna to take care of the problem. Please send me authorization to have this problem taken care of.

    Question:
I purchased on 8/13/2014 a 130BT. It started perfectly, the first time, and now it will not start the second time. Yes I have fresh fuel and the stop button is not down. I just dropped it off at an authorized dealer and he tells me that I will be charged for them to repair.
I think this is crazy for me to have to pay for the repair of a once used brand new unit.

    Please advise.

    Question:
Does the hinged air inlet cover open on the 125B? It appears to be hinged, but does not unlatch from side opposite the hinge. Is this normal?
