General Product Question posted July 10, 2013 by Peter Bengelsdorf
    Question:
"The engine speed was set at the factory for optimum performance. Speed is not adjustable." --Page 6, Husqvarna 7021P lawn mower owner's manual. "For better grass bagging and most cutting conditions, the engine speed should be set in the fast position." --Page 8, same manual.
Is the engine speed adjustable or not?

General Product Question posted August 10, 2012 by Terry Campbell
    Question:
1st: What are the differences between the 5521p and the 6021p walk behind mowers? The 5521p I believe has a B&S engine (confusing due to inconsistency of information on web sites), and the 6021p has a Kohler. Every place I look has the 6021p at a cheaper price than the 5521p, I would think it would be the other way around.
2nd: Has the problem with excessive grass clippings on top of deck been resolved on these two mowers?

6 month old HU700F self propelled walk behind. Used maybe 25 times since April, on 1/3 acre. Last 3 weeks there is a black dust accumulating around the belt cover. I never use the partial variable speed position, Either all on or off. Belt wear creating the dust? Thanks.

    7021R Drive Problems....I recently purchased a Husqvarna...escalated1
General Product Question posted May 26, 2012 by Roger McCarren
    Question:
7021R Drive Problems....I recently purchased a Husqvarna 7021R mower and am somewhat unhappy with the self-propelled feature. I've used it 3 times since I got it and it just doesn't seem right to me. The drive seems to be very weak. When starting off, I need to press the lever and give the mower a push in order to get it rolling. On hills, the belt squeals and I need to assist it with a good push to get it moving. Once it's moving, it seems to be ok other than the belt does squeal a little. I did the cable adjustment as mentioned in the owners manual but that seemed to have little effect on it.

Bottom line....is this normal or is there an issue with this mower? It doesn't seem to me that I should have to push it to get it going. For almost $400 I would expect that I wouldn't have to treat it as a push mower.

General Product Question posted June 16, 2012 by Louis Bohm
    Question:
A few weeks ago I purchased a HU775H and it comes with a high lift mulching blade. Honestly it should be called a clumping blade. As I mow I get huge clumps of grass left behind. I have never seen performance like this. My last 2 mowers (Toros) never did this.

When I look at the clippings I see very long clippings. With other mowers I would get very small clippings. At first I thought this was a problem with the blade not being sharp so I sharpened it. No change.

With the bagger I am even getting some clumping. Though not as bad as with out it.

Anyone know what the problem is?
