General Product Question posted June 15, 2015 by James Nero
    Question:
Approx. 2 months ago I purchased a Husqvarna push mower model HU800AWD/961450011. Traditionally for lawn mowers I've always purchased Troy built, but Lowes had a decent sale on this model, and it boasts it's most powerful Honda motor yet so I thought I would try. Since the first day of use I have been very displeased with the performance of it. Not only did one of the height adjustment handle break the 2nd time I tried to move it, but the mower does not much well at all leaving large clumps of grass everywhere. Whether I mow every 6 or 7 days or every 3, the mower just does not mulch the grass. Inquiring from you since this is a last years model has there been similar complaints about this issue, and or what can you recommend that may elevate the issue. Due to the fact that it's over 30 days Lowes will not take it back so I'm kind of stuck with it. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience , James Nero bullett76@yahoo.com

General Product Question posted April 10, 2012 by Charles Bright
    Question:
Back in the 1990's, I bought a new American Yard Products Flymo Model RL508B, S/N 00175. This is a Flymo, but with conventional wheels (it's not a hovering Flymo). The mower was new in the box until late last fall when I got it out and started using it. One thing I don't like about it is that it tends to really sling rocks and other debris I may run over out to the front and sides like no other mower I've ever used. i'm wondering if this may be either a bad design or at the least need a different blade. Anyone ever have any experience with one of these?

General Product Question posted September 28, 2011 by Bob Wray
    Question:
Bought 6021P push lawn mower today and am using it without the mulch bag and with the side door closed. The seal between the back door and the frame is not tight and thus grass and dirt blow toward the engine and the air cleaner. There needs to be some sort of rubber gasket to provide a tight seal, else I will be cleaning the air filter every 10 minutes. See attached picture to appreciate how much junk is coming out of the leaking area. I think it's a lousy design or a manufacturing problem and am ready to take it back to Sears.

General Product Question posted September 14, 2012 by Charles Wielobob
    Question:
Bought a front drive Husqvarna from Sears two years ago with the large back wheels because of my varied yard terrain. I live in the northeast so it only gets used for the summer months. I bought the "Brand" because of what I thought was a superior product. Overall it is a great mower, however even with bearings in the rear wheels ( none of the sears products have bearings, just solid plastic) the plastic is too thin and I am now replacing the second rear wheel because the cheap plastic cracked around the hub. I replaced both wheels with solid plastic wheels. The Sears replacement wheels fit and I am able to use the mower.
    Details:

I am very unhappy with  what I thought was a well designed mower but it appears it is just "the same" as everything else out there. Please improve the thickness of the plastic on the large rear wheels or you will loose more "Brand Loyal" customers in the future. Don't degrade the brand by going cheap on components. You can't cut the grass when you don't have a rear wheel, very frustrating.

    Thanks for your attention,

    Chuck

General Product Question posted August 6, 2012 by Jim Garrett
    Question:
Bought a Husky HU700L mower. Excellent product. Thought it was Mexican product due to name. I'm VERY surprised their web site won't give Email address to accept suggestions. Might not buy any more Husky stuff because I can't contact them direct. Anyway two suggestions if someone can send to the designers to consider. First, wider wheels might help distribute weight of the mower because wheel tracks in the lawn can't be mowed over for a nice finish unless you overlap many inches, losing the 22 inch blade advantage. Maybe the front wheels could be placed in the front of the deck in the blade path? This would solve the track problem. Second suggestion is by releasing the transmission handle make that release the wheel pawls so the mower can be pulled back. Now, after releasing the handle, one must push the mower forward to get the wheels to free up. Not good if you are up to a barrier like a tree stump.
    Regards, Jim

    Question:
Bought my HU675AWD lawn mover on 4-6-2014.
I tried to start it on 4-6-2015 and it will not start.
I have called 3 days in a row now and all I get is take it to the dealer.
I would rather have my money back.
Has to be something simple. I have tried everything but nobody can help me on the phone.
How do I fix this problem without taking to the dealer and waiting several weeks?

    Burning oil for the HU700Lescalated
General Product Question posted May 4, 2012 by Vince Iwanski
    Question:
    Burning oil for the HU700L
    Details:

I bought the HU700L about 2 weeks ago. Every time I start it (when the engine is cold) it smokes and smells bad for about a minute. I think it's getting worse every time I start it. Is this normal for a break in period or is there something wrong with the engine? I checked the oil and it's filled to the proper level. I've got about 4.5 hrs on the engine so far.
