Riding Lawnmower I have had (3) cracked exhaust...Answeredescalated4
Warranty Question posted April 30, 2012 by Steven Cramer
    Question:
    Riding Lawnmower
I have had (3) cracked exhaust pipes over the last 2 months.
Unit purchased at Lowes Home Improvement Warren PA
Found the root cause this weekend. The bolts holding the motor to frame are bottomed out before making contact with frame. Is there supposed to be washers and lock washers? One of the bolts is missing all together. The exhaust bolts are missing threads due to the vibration.
    Details:

Disapponited to say the least.  I was looking at John Deere and Husqvarna and picked Husqvarna since my chain saw and edge trimmer are Husqvarna without any service issues.  Can these parts be supplied under warranty?

Might there be a recall coming up on the HU700F walk mower...escalated1
Warranty Question posted June 29, 2013 by steve mcleod
    Question:
Might there be a recall coming up on the HU700F walk mower self propelled? I purchased this mower last year. LEMON! Take it back. Mine started the 1st month when then the idle would not work. Then the deck guards fell off, the drive belt fell off, the blade cracked and the engine came lose from the deck which was cracked. I have a double lot, all grass, no hills or obsticles. My wife is the one who cuts the grass. Had nothing but issues from the first month. Things I fixed myself, but it kept getting worse. So I take it in for warranty work and to be checked for recall stuff and ......you know, I got totally blown off and shot down for any type of service. This was not a cheap mower. Now Lowes has my $350.00 and I have a piece of garbage and Husqvarna says sorry sucker. Time to go back to the $150.00 Toro. I am totally PO'd.
Keep in mind this mower was used for 1 summer and 1 month. That equates to about 14 mows. It looks as if the deck skirt welds broke loose and started this chain reaction of the possibility of loss of life. I can only upload 1 picture, so more are here.

    I have a Husqvarna Model 7021P Mower for a little over 2...escalated
Warranty Question posted July 9, 2013 by Mark Rosenblatt
    Question:
I have a Husqvarna Model 7021P Mower for a little over 2 years. While mowing the metal attaching the front wheel to the mower deck sheered off. To emphasize the wheel is perfectly fine and it is simply a chunk of metal from the deck itself which broke off so the wheel can no longer be attached. The decks manufacturing quality has rendered a perfectly good lawnmower with a great Honda engine useless.

The mower has been well maintained and there are no signs of any rust. This is clearly a manufacturing defect having metal insufficiently strong enough to support the stresses transferred from the wheel to the mower.

I would like to know how Husqvarna will stand behind its product and replace the deck with one of reasonable quality.

Warranty Question posted September 22, 2012 by Greg Z
    Question:
I bought a new Murray M22450 in July 2012 to do trim mowing. The mower already has a cracked deck which resulted in the blade hitting the side of the deck and broken rear wheel adjustment brackets.

I spoke to the Murray rep on the phone and he told me I had to come here to resolve it.

I am furious!!! What kind of garbage are you selling!

Please take action to resolve this immediately.

    Regards,
    Greg

Warranty Question posted May 8, 2012 by Craig Harris
    Question:
I purchased a Husqvarna XT722FE 22-Inch 173cc Kohler XT-7 3-N-1 Variable Speed FWD Self Propelled Lawn Mower With Electric Start, the mower arrived damaged and unusable. What are my options for repairing, or returning the item.. Item was purchased through amazon.com
    Details:

Mower was damaged in either packaging or shipping. Both rear wheels are out of line, and right rear wheel is not able to be adjusted for height. The right rear wheels height adjustment mechasim is damaged and not repairable. I have pictures to show the damaged area if you need them. The shipping box is NOT damaged. The lawn mower is still in the box and the box is undamaged, so therefore it must have came damaged from the manufacturer putting it into the box. We have not removed the mower from the box yet and have the pictures that show the damage and the box. I am willing to do the repairs myself however i would require both rear wheel mechanisms. This would consist of all parts from the frame of the deck to the wheel including both height adjustment mechasims.  Option two would be for me to return the item to you, and you can reimburse me the full price i paid for this item and i will continue my search for a lawn mower.

Will using ethanol free gas void my warranty?escalated
Warranty Question posted April 7, 2014 by Greg Finan
    Question:
Will using ethanol free gas void my warranty?
    Details:

I have noticed on your site that you are recommending 10% ethanol gas. Ethanol free gas is available in my area and I have been using it in all my gas powered equipment.  Now I'm reading about people not having their warranty honored because of the fuel they are using.  Do I have a problem by using what I consider a better blend of fuel?

Ref: Husqvarna rotary lawn mower model no. 917.376822...Answeredescalated1
Warranty Question posted April 13, 2012 by Cliff Gumm
    Question:
Ref: Husqvarna rotary lawn mower model no. 917.376822 21"
    multi-cut

My mower wouldn't start this spring.
As it was still in warrany I took it to an authorize repair center, Maximum Outdoor Equip service. Although I had prepared the mower for storage last fall by putting a fuel stabilizer in the gas tank, as described in the owners manual, I was told that the mower wasn't covered by warranty because the carb had gummed up because the information in the manual was inaccurate and that a fuel stablizer should never be used in a mower gas tank.

I pointed out that the owner's manual said to use stablizer and was told that it was erroneous information and that they were compelled to honor the warranty because Sears had their logo on the back of the book. I then went to Sears and was told that since Husqvarna had published the book Sears could not be held responsible for the information in the manaul.

Additionally I understand there's a bulletin from the factory regarding a fault in the carburetor on this model.

So far this farce has cost me $105 for something I feel should be covered by warranty.

Your timely response with any help or guidence you can provide would be very much appreciated.]
