Warranty Question posted July 25, 2012 by Stephen Lockwood
    Question:
I am very disappointed with my 20 inch model 445 chainsaw. I purchased it March 2011. I was using it 2 months ago and it was running fine. I stopped it for just a couple minutes and then I couldn't get it started. I took it to the Husqvarna dealer in Tecumseh. After having it for a month and not hearing from them, I called them. They told me the chainsaw had no compression. I acquired about the warranty. They said they would have to check. After another 3 weeks I had to call again. They said it wasn't any warranty because of the improper lubrication. I have owned different chainsaws the past 40 years and have never had issues with the gas/oil mix. I have had snow throwers lasting 30 yrs old and still running, weed whackers that have been 2 cycle engines. Now I just have an expensive paper weight.

    Question:
I just had a new carb. put on my 359 chainsaw I HAVE BEEN TOLD AND REA THAT THE THESE CARBS. ON BOTH THE 359 & THE 357 NEED TO BE REPLACED WHEN THEY GO BAD. MY QUESTION IS DOES HUSQVARNA STAND BEHIND THEIR SAWS AS THIS HAS COST ME $140. I WOULDNT MIND IF IT WAS FULL OF DIRT AND CAUSED BY ABUSE BUT THIS IS MOST CERTAINLY NOT THE CASE

    Question:
With a new 562XP chainsaw purchased from an independent dealer last week, I was disappointed to find that nothing was included in a new, original box like the tools (scrench, allen key, etc.) , MANUALS and etc. The chainsaw is fine. What should I do to get the missing items? The dealer is clueless.

Warranty Question posted October 25, 2011 by Terry Nickerson
    Question:
I purchased a model 350 that has less than 4hrs run time on it. It is out of warranty. The muffler bolts (fine thread) loosened/stripped out of the aluminum head and the subsequent blow-by from the combustion chamber melted through the plastic oil reservoir rendering my new chainsaw totally useless. What can Husqvarna do to make this right? Once again, I realize the unit is out of warranty.
    Thank you for your consideration.
    Regards,
    Terry Nickerson

If I knew how to attach a digital photograph of the failure, I would, but I don't so I can't.

Warranty Question posted November 7, 2012 by Terry Guin
    Question:
    To Whom it May Concern:
My name is Terry Guin. I am writing to you today concerning an issue with my Husqvarna RAncher 55, 53 cc's, engine number 4HVxs.0535AA
I'm been a staunch advocate, user and proponet of Husvarna products for the past twenty years. Today, the abovementioned saw blew the spark plug out of the head. It's demise is not due to misuse. It has less than 100 hours' usage.
I've never changed the plug or done any thing other than put gas and oil in it. It is in the same condition as when I purchased it from the store (except is has now seen an early demise.)
When I looked into the cost of replacement parts, I realized I could buy a new piece of eqipment for the same amount of money it would cost to repair it. I would like help either on the cost of replacement parts or toward the cost of a new saw, from Husqvarna.
I appreciate your products and hope that you appreciate my point of view, in asking for some help, in order to continue my loyalty and advocacy for your products.
    Best Regards,
    Terry Guin

Warranty Question posted November 29, 2011 by Frank Boerger
    Question:
Trying to register my new 327P5 pole saw, but the manual does not say where the serial number is. There are paper tags on the tank, but I can't see that those would last too long after a bit of spilled fuel, and nothing says S/N or serial number.

    TIA

Warranty Question posted September 28, 2011 by Craig Ching
    Question:
I bought a 435 chainsaw on 6/24/11, and used it for about 2 months. Then for about 1 month I did not use it. When I tried to start it after that month of not using it it did not start. I took it to the dealer and he found the carburetor welch plug sealant came off. So they cleaned and sealed the carburetor, and charged me a $100.93 for labor. Why is this not covered by the warranty? They also said this may have been caused by the ethanol in the gas, but the manual has no warning not to use gas with ethanol. I can't afford to have this happen again to my chain saw.
