Hey Steve,
You have any pictures you cab post or tell where you bought the parts?
Thanks
Charles
Brown spots caused by exhaust. There is a crescent shaped piece that has two scews holding onto the main exhaust. I bent the edge up on it on all sides. Didn't want to block or restrict the exhaust too much. It helped but really needs a different design. Again if you mow your yard at a low height theis probably isn't an issue for you. If you are like me and don't even drop the deck then if you stay parked in an area for more than twenty seconds be prepared for brown spots.
Things may have changed but where the brake is on the left side did you check all foursides of the square tubing? Otherwise I would look everywhere a flat sticker could be placed. Good luck.
Do you mean just to pull out of the yard to get it hooked up to your truck? I put a 1/8 plate steel bracket on mine. I purchased on Ebay about $30. There are two bolt holes already in the back of my frame drilled them out slightly larger and mounted it. I am just using this to move my trailer up a slight incline so I can keep the truck out of the yard (empty). I don't think the EZT hydros are designed for any heavy loads.

I think you are correct in the location of the spring just need to make sure it is positioned properly. Mine has a spring connected to the idler the spring is going through a hole in the body of the mower. It looks very similar to your picture. Have you tried a schematic?

II had the same problem! No one could help me on the site or at the husqvarna dealers. I'm guessing your yard has a fairly tall grass? I don't mean it's out of control, I don't even drop my deck to mow. What I finally discovered if you look at the muffler where the hot gases exit the rectangular box portion there is a small semi circular flap. If you take a pair of duck bill pliers or lineman's pliers and slightly bend the leading edge upwards basically redirecting the gases off of the ground/grass. Be careful and don't choke off the flow by bending the edge too much.
I hope this helps you,
Charles
Oh yeah if any husqvarna employee sees this how about re-engineering the exhaust outlet? Jeez!
Hi George,
Sounds like you are mowing VERY low and or the tree roots stick up considerably in your yard. My mother in law has a couple of giant oak trees that have massive tree roots sticking up. My father in law mows at what I like to call "worm burner" height. I can't tell you how many blades I've changed. Oh and he has gone through four push mowers in the last sixteen years because after the umpteenth time of hitting the roots it destroys the engine.
I do wish there were additional anti-scalp wheels for our RZ4623's (Nose and right rear).

Sounds like a bad battery. Any more info(starter not engaging or it is engaging still nothing etc...)

Hi Richard or is it ***, :)
Sorry I know you have NEVER heard that before! Believe it or not on most mowers the hour meter functions only when the PTO is engaged. Notice I said most because there are a few manufacturers that allow the hour meter to run when the engine is on. I could surmize that if you have a residential mower (ZTR or Tractor) that the amount of time when the blades aren't engaged would be considered negligible. On the other hand I'm with you, I use my mowers for all kinds of functions from spraying, dethatching/sweeping even aeration. Again maybe on an acre that's nothing, but hey, some of the folks in here have upwards of six acres and that would be a considerable time frame in my humble opinion. P.S. I was able to purchase my mower at a HUGE discount because a customer thought the hour meter was defective and wasn't working when the engine was on! Even the employees at Lowe's thought it was defective. Until they got it back from the service center, it had 0.1 hours, the tech bill was $103 and nothing was wrong. I am guilty of this too but KNOW more about your product than the customer!
Hope this helps.

Don't knoif this worked. I can't attach a file in this Forum for nothing! I know I didn't mount it exactly on the frame but my 2" ball and hitch would allow for that.

For anyone that owns the RZ4623 or the RZ5424 Home Depot sells an engine guard for the Toro Timecutter 38 and 42 inch zero turns. It sells for $39 shipped to your local store. Worked like a champ had to drill two holes but no biggie will post pictures tomorrow. I hope someone in the company sees this for exactly what it is, a chance to squeeze a few more bucks of profit out of the customer.
Not mad at the company making money just surprised they don't offer an engine guard for their RZ series zero turn mowers.
Thankfully Toro does :)

Any additional info? Could be the electro??? (pto) not engaging properly. I assume all springs and belts are attached? All pulleys moving freely?

Part had been in back order for some time now. Hopefully I will receive it soon. :(
