    Question:
HU725AWD lest than 10 months old just blew the crankshaft through the engine casing. Motor is not covered in the Husqvarna warranty, who does cover the motor? Is this Briggs and Stratton, if so what is the protocol to follow?

Warranty Question posted October 31, 2016 by Jonathan Hitchcock
    Details:

I'm frustrated with my Husqvarna 6021P walk behind push mower.  I bought the mower the summer of 2011 off of Amazon.com. I have used it the last 2 years as just a mower for ditches and around landscaping because of I purchased a riding mower.  Earlier this week as I went to turn around while mowing my ditch, the front wheel fell off.  I thought perhaps it was just a loose bolt that needed to be tightened, however as I looked closer the actual metal hole where the bolt secures the wheel just broke.  There's no fix for the wheel unless it were to be welded back together somehow, but I don't have that ability.  I have taken meticulous care of all my small engines, this one included.  I've never had any problem with the mower and have been pleased with its ability, however I am extremely disappointed by its short life span.  I bought the mower based off of consumer reports ratings.  It is the first Husqvarna product that I have purchased, and I have never had a mower have an issue like this so quickly.  I tried to look at a warranty, but I'm not sure what that is because of my purchase off of Amazon.  I was hoping to talk specifically to someone at Husqvarna to see if they would back their product and offer to either fix or replace.  If not, this will be the last Husqvarna product I ever purchase. Thank you for the help.

Warranty Question posted September 30, 2016 by David Self
    Question:
    I bought a push mower from Lowes and the model # is-961450010 00 HU775H AND THE SERIAL # IS 071513M 057042.
The mower is hard to start and gas is getting in the cylinder and comes out the muffler. I don't think I've had the lawn mower but 2 1/2 yrs and think that it should be a better product than this.
I only mow a small spot next to my house each season so it doesn't get a lot of use and I use 100% gas all the time. Also I make sure to run the mower out of gas at the end of the season. I would like a free replacement as it is useless to me.

    Thanks David Self

    Question:
I purchased a walk behind HU800AWDH on 04/10/2015 that will not run over a minute or two. I have replaced the spark plug, air filter, and drained the gas tank and replaced with fresh gas. This lawn mower is too expensive not to operate. Is this covered under warranty? If so, where? It is not the gas line, what could be causing this problem?

Warranty Question posted August 16, 2016 by Victor Smither
    Question:
I wish I could have found an email instead of a blog. I purchased a walk behind mower HU725AWD on 23 Apr 2016 and because of drought and not using it every time I used riding lawn mower only used it 7 times. I noticed the motor was trying to get away from the housing so I took it to a warrantee center and told it was not covered because I hit something and bent the crank shaft. Really, I hit something not sure when, I do not do drugs so I ask how do I know this is not a design flaw, defective materials, a middle manager saying save 5 cents to get a 10K bonus, a miscalculation in engineering , or other issues before it got but into a box. I paid more money per cut than if someone else cut it. I really do not appreciate being accused of something I know did not happen and you do not have to prove the quality. I unfortunately purchased Husqvarna riding lawn mower also about the same time and when it is time to upgrade or replace I will never go orange again. I ask you do I have a reason not to be upset that I spent $399 and only used 7 times. About the only thing that could fix this situation is a $400 dollar gift card and a promise for three years of fixing when it breaks for any reason. I will not hold my breath so consider this our divorce papers. May you go the way of Saab. No response is needed just wanted to let you know you have lost a customer.

Warranty Question posted July 11, 2016 by Gianni Robinson
    Question:
Why does my HU700H have difficulty restarting? It starts on first pull, but if I shut it down, it will not restart unless it rest for a minimum of 30 minutes.

This is the second unit since Father's Day 2016. After the first mower experienced this issue, I returned it to Lowes for an exchanged. The 2nd units didn't have any issues for the first couple of weeks, now its back to the original issue.

I use new 91 fuel and the oil level is appropriate. I have heard of other owners experiencing similar problems with this model.

    Question:
I have a like new LC221A. When I filled the oil, it kept going in without coming up to the dipstick level. It took a quart and still doesn't come up past 1/2 full. I started it and it started blowing oil out and then quit. The air filter was covered with oil. Where did all of the oil go? It sounds like a defect. It was given as a gift. Please help!

    Question:
I have a Model HU675AWD; I purchased it on 6/29/14; up until this point it has worked great! I cannot get it to start because the starter pull line just pulls right out (with no tension) as if it is no longer connected. I have a 3 year warranty, but the retail store I purchased it from (Lowe's) said it has to handled by Husqvarna; I contacted a local dealer that sells Husqvarna equipment & they said they only perform warranty work on equipment they sell. Is this not an issue the 3 year warranty should cover??

How do I get a new lawnmower courtesy of Husqvarna?1
Warranty Question posted April 24, 2016 by John Morony
    Question:
How do I get a new lawnmower courtesy of Husqvarna?
    Details:

I have an HU800 (I believe) AWD walk behind mower.  I purchased it in June of 2015 and by September of 2015 it would no longer start.  I paid neighborhood kids to mow my lawn for me until I got it fixed.  I took it to my local dealer this month (Price & Gannon) in Centreville, MD and they "fixed" it - they told me the valves were stuck or something to that effect.  I picked it up and started to mow my lawn and guess what?  After about 15 minutes of mowing, I emptied the grass catcher and it will no longer start.  Same issues as last September - it simply won't start and an overt smell of gasoline when I try to start it.  So, I'll take it back to the dealer AGAIN to get it "fixed" again - but my question is this: how many times to I have to engage in this nonsense before Husqvarna replaces the mower?  Clearly there is something very wrong here.
