I have used it from time to time aproximately 10 to 12 times for an hour or so since purchased. The 2nd or 3rd time I used it the chain started to come off within the first 5 to 10 minutes of use. It has gotten progressively worse and currently will not stay on the saw over 1 minute while in use. This saw has less than 30 hours use. Is there a design problem or recall with this model pertaining to the problem I just explained? I have looked at it closely and cannot determine the reason for the malfunction. What do you recommend.

I don't know if they did or didn't receive the attachment I added. How can I tell if my warranty was extended to 4 years?

The part that holds chain oil in the reservoir so it can be dispensed onto the chain does not hold the oil in the chainsaw. It is a defective design, and no matter how many times it is replaced it will never hold oil for longer than 1 original use.
- Warranty Question posted July 10, 2011 by Charles CarverQuestion:Leaking Chain Oil Cap...I purchased a 327P5X Pole Saw on 06/22/11. When assembling today and filling the chain tank with chain oil, the cap will not screw on squarely, allowing a slow leak of oil. The threads on the cap do not appear to be stripped or cross threaded. After turning in all the way, when looking at the cap from the side, you can clearly see that the cap does not fit evenly all the way around (small gap on one end). The leak will prove to be a pain during storage. Will another cap help or is this possibly a defective body?

Question:I recently purchased a new Husqvarna 455 Rancher Chain saw which came witha 20" bar and chain. Bar is labeled 3/8 - 72DL and chain has #80 on each link. On one of the teeth it is only a half tooth, Is this Normal? Where the wear Indicator would normally be, to not sharpen beyond this point, the tooth is ground off, This chain has never been sharpened, and came with the new chainsaw. Is this a warranty Issue? Yes, i checked the spam folder, and NO, it is not there either. I purchased the 3 cans of Husq 2 stroke fuel to add the 2 additonal warrany years, but it says it has to be done online, and that I have to provide receipt proof by electronic or mail.
How long does it take to get the confirmation of registration ?
