We're about to purchase a two-stage snow blower to use...Answeredescalated1
General Product Question posted October 26, 2011 by Tony Brower
    Question:
We're about to purchase a two-stage snow blower to use on our 100' drive. We are worried because our drive is a dirt drive with some small stones and gravel. We've never had a snow blower and fear that even though we'll try to get any loose stones/gravel off the drive, some will still remain and ruin the snow blower.

    What do you suggest?

Is it possible to raise the front end of it so it doesn't scrape/clear down to the surface of the driveway?

The very last thing we want is to ruin such an expensive piece of equipment.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Question:
Are there any dealers in MN near the twin cities that actually STOCK Husqvarna snowthrowers? I'd like to buy one, but want to actually get my hands on one before I but. I have called a bunch from the "dealer locater" and none have any in stock. Please advise.

    Question:
Does anyone know where I can find a snow thrower attachment for 2005 Husqvarna YTH2448 lawn tractor. The one available on Husqvarna's website and a similar looking one by AgriFab says they are not compatible with 2005 or earlier models. Thanks for your help.

Just bought a 46" ride-on Husquvarna and it only came with one key. Shouldn't it have two?
How can I get another key made?
Also, where can I buy an extended warranty?

    Husqvarna Snow Blower 15530SB-LS (96193003801)
    SN: 081409M 000700

The Owners Manual shows a "fuel shut-off valve", but there is only a hole where it should be, according to the drawing in the manual. The engine seems to start and run ok. The hole (about 1 1/2 inches round) is covered with a (temporary) sticky plastic cover. Could the valve have fallen inside the housing, and is this going to be a problem?

    Question:
I own a 42" snow thrower attachment (made by Agri-Fab) for my GTH48XLSI tractor. The auger belt continuously comes off, making it useless. It was returned to dealer 5 times for same problem. One time a new belt was put on at my expense. Has there been a recall or service bulletin on this expensive piece of junk? Model # 531307169 (on snow thrower) # LST42E (on owners manual). Serial # 0013041 (on snow thrower). I called customer support - no help. I cannot go through another season having to shovel. PLEASE HELP!!!

    Question:
I just purchased a model 1830VH snow blower. After checking the oil and gassing it up, I was going to get familiar with the controls before we get a major snow. It started twice, running for about 10 seconds each time and now won't start. Any suggestions?

On the ST-324P Hydrostatic Drive. How do you disengage the hydrostatic drive to move it without the engine running?

General Product Question posted January 17, 2015 by bob mccann
    Question:
First time owner of a Husqvarna product. Last winter in the middle of one of Chicago's worst snow storms, my old one broke down and I had to scramble to find anything to blow snow. So I found the last one in the Chicago land area. I ordered it, it was shipped and arrived in a box a few days later. I read the quick start guide, and attached all the parts and such. I was snow blowing in an hour. Great. Now its a year later and went to the garage to start up my blower. Gas tank empty, checked oil, ok.
Looked for the fuel on/off switch? Looked for an on/off button. Looked for my paper work and could not find it. Looked for manufactures information number and such. Under a handle and some cables found a sticker. With the information on the sticker tried to find my snow blower online with the site. Bottom line, my machine has no on/off switch. My machine has no fuel on/off valve or switch. My machine has no engine throttle control. My machine is discontinued. My machine has a manual, but its in Spanish. My machine has a key switch, but the key does not turn!? My machine is not listed on the Husqvarna site. The Spanish manual has pictures of the machine, but it does not match the machine I own. The manuals offered online both on site and from manual sites, do not match my machine. The trouble shooting guide is for a machine with a key switch, a fuel valve and a throttle control. When I called and spoke to a customer service rep, she was clueless. The only help I have gotten is to take the machine into a dealer!? No manual I can read, no information online, no help with customer service rep. I feel I bought a lemon, so far its been not fun owning this machine.

my 924HVX is not listed by your company. I can only find info on a 924HV.
which does not look like my snow blower. The problem is my blower will not start. Now being an older man, and yes forgetful at times. I can not remember how to start this machine. My machine does not have an on/off button I am aware of or can find. I see no fuel switch, the HV owners manual shows both. My machine seems to be different. The numbers on the machine are all very confusing. When I try to locate a part or manual, I just end up going in circles. The Briggs and Stratton engine number does not line up with that companies formula for an engine number. The engine number is on a sticker, which makes me think it can not be correct. The B&S site shows several locations for an engine number, none of which line up with the machine. I have as best I can tell a discontinued machine, and all the pictures and references do not match up. How do I proceed?
