Service & Maintenance Question posted June 6, 2010 by Dan
    Question:
I just bought a Husqvarna RZ3016 (zero turn riding mower). It was just delivered to my house 2 days ago, on Friday, June 4th. Today, June 6th, I finally had time to go out and try it out. I can't get it to start, despite doing EVERYTHING the booklit, and quickstart guide has said for me to do. It's not even trying to start-totally dead.
Can someone call me or something to help me figure out why this beautiful mower won't start?
    Thanks !!

RZ5426 suddenly has almost no power to the rear wheels. It will barely climb up a gentle incline. What does that usually stem from?

Service & Maintenance Question posted October 23, 2012 by Paul Iwema
    Question:
I need the complete wiring diagram for my Husqvarna RZ5424/96659301 mower. It is equipped with a Kohler Courage 24 engine. The mower product code is 289821 and the serial number is 021112C001839. I believe it is a 2012 production model.
It will not start with the switches and levers in the correct positions. I have verified that all the micro switches are functioning correctly. The oil level is good and the battery is fully charged. The ignition switch's solenoid output at the terminal reads positive in the start position but not at the starter solenoid itself. I have verified the starter solenoid is good by running a positive lead to it which will successfully starts the engine. This is the only way the mower will operate. There is no obvious short or break in the wiring.
I have the ignition schematic available to the consumer but need the full diagram to track down the source of my problem.

Service & Maintenance Question posted July 14, 2015 by Damien Teehan
    Question:
I have a RZ5425 Zero Turn Mower a little over 2 years old. After ~20-30 minutes operation, the right hydraulic drive become noisy and sluggish in response. The noise is rough, but short of grinding, with intermittent clicking. Not to the level of cavitation that I am familiar with, but possibly the case. I was thinking it is probably related to the fluid heating up and viscosity degradation.

I am looking for guidance on checking/changing the hydraulic fluid on the RZ5424, as I do not see anything in the manual or learn anything from the Parts Diagram. Specifically, I do not see a hydraulic reservoir, so it may be sealed, but hopefully still maintainable. Specification of recommended fluid is of interest as well.

    Thanks

    Question:
I bought a RZ5424 mower new this spring and have a problem with leveling the deck to where it doesn't look like it is cutting lower on the discharge side of the deck on all 3 blades. I even replaced the blades, which helped some but not completely. Can you help me please?

Service & Maintenance Question posted August 2, 2011 by Nelson Garris
    Question:
I have a Husqvarna residential zero-turn mower model# Z4824, part# 968 99 95 12 Z4824. The mower is just over three years old with exactly 39.2 hours on the motor. The problem is when the blade switch is engaged the blades starts and then stops every few seconds and then stops working completely. I've replaced the switch first and then the very expensive blade clutch. What's another solution? The part# 968 99 95 12 Z4824 is also the serial number. Sears sells this mower for extra large yards or lots. I mow a one acre yard (12)times a summer, small work for a product with the Husqvarna name on it, right?

My RZ5424 ZTR pulls to the left. I turned the adjustment knob counter clock wise as far as it will go and it still pulls to the left a little. How do I correct this?

    Question:
I have a RZ5424. I had to replace the idler pulley for the hydraulics. I cannot find a diagram for this pulley. The parts manual has a diagram of sorts, but its difficult to follow. As soon as I get the belt back on and engage the levers the belt slips off. I'd like to verify I have the belt on correctly. Is there a specific diagram on the hydraulics belt?

Service & Maintenance Question posted June 7, 2010 by Jerry
    Question:
Could you guys please help me I sent this email to your technical people June 1 got an email saying question would be answered in 24 hours. I still have not gotten a response. I purchased this mower from Rural King in Ohio on May 23 2010. I got it home read through the information and started mowing it worked well for the first 1.3 hours and then the blades stopped. I look up in the manual and found that I had a blown 7.5 amp fuse I ran to town got fuses and replaced it. It worked well again for about 10 minutes then blew the fuse again. This time I started tracking down to find the problem and found that the wiring harness coming from the electromagnetic clutch was rubbing against a pulley and had warn a hole through the protective coating and the insulation on the wire I taped the wire and re-routed the harness so it was not rubbing and have ran the mower for about 5 hours since then with no problems so I have to assume that this was the problem. Now here is my problem I really like the mower but do not feel that I should have to be working on it in 1.3 hours nor do I think that I should have to have a electromagnetic coupling with electrical tape covering a hole in it. I also noticed while cleaning it yesterday that both rear wheels only have 3 lug nuts on them. It is starting to make me a little nervous on did I choose the right mower my gut instict is to return it however like I said earlier I do really like it and had done lots of research before purchasing it. What I would like from you is to send me a new electro-mechanical clutch since the one on there now has a hole in the wiring harness and to send me 2 lug nuts so I can install them. If you could do that for me it would keep me from returning it to the retailer and ultimately keep you from getting it back. Please let me know what course of action you would like me to follow. Taking it back to the place of purchase is really not a good option because it is about an hours drive from my home. Thank you in advance
