    Hi,

Just bought a winterization kit 537 03 38-01 for my 390XPG but I just can't figure out where to put one of the two parts that came with the kit. Do you have instructions or can you tell me where it goes ?

    Question:
after ordering a 576XP G, I noticed the air filter is not the heavy duty element type pictured on the descriptive page at Husqvarna website. the air filter that came on the new saw is a much smaller plastic screen type. obviously a cheaper less effective air filter will not protect the top end as well.
this is a blatant curveball misleading the consumer, and is deceptive. why do you people at Husqvarna do this?
I want the better quality air filter that is shown on the webpage in order to protect my engine. how do I get what I paid for from Husqvarna?

Service & Maintenance Question posted August 24, 2014 by David Owens
    Question:
My 365 X-Torq chainsaw refuses to start unless I use fuel less than a couple of days old. I only mix a gallon of fuel at a time (91 octane), which typically lasts about 3 weeks. Without exception, I end up using my 455 Rancher far more than the 365 because the 455 (or any other two cycle engine I own) has no problem starting/running with 2 or 3 week old fuel. I understand there is a limited time fuel can be stored but less than one week seems a little odd. Could there be something else wrong with my saw?

    Question:
I have a 357XP that leaks all of the bar oil when it is sitting. My dealer has told me that it is probably the "O" ring seal. To replace this, they said you have to remove the clutch, which you recommend be done by a dealer. That means It will cost me $60. -$90. to replace a less than $10. part. What alternatives do I have?

Service & Maintenance Question posted August 17, 2014 by Josh Sampson
    Question:
450 Rancher Farm Tough. Just bought it a couple days ago and just started it for the first time today. When I start it and turn the brake off, the idle increases and the chain moves faster and faster progressively until I kill it. I haven't cut a single thing with it yet because I may be taking it back to get something else because I need a properly functioning chainsaw tomorrow. A brand new chainsaw should not be dysfunctional. What's going on here?

    Question:
I own a 455 Husqvarna. The saw boggs down as soon as you put pressure on the chain or just power up the saw. Do I need to adjust the high speed jet. If so, do I need a special tool ?

Service & Maintenance Question posted September 18, 2012 by Larry Risser
    Question:
555 Clutch Cover keeps coming off -- I recently purchased a 555XP with autotune. I love the autotune but the design of the clutch cover seems to be faulty. In the times I have used it, the clutch cover has come off nearly every time, not after hours but in less time than a tankful. It throws the chain every time, taking an hour to file off the burrs before I can resume. The bar tightener has broken twice and now the pin that the cover attaches to has broken or fallen into the body. Is there a design flaw? Is there a service bulletin?

Husqvarna 435 Chain Saw - Very difficult to start....Answeredescalated33100%
Service & Maintenance Question posted October 31, 2011 by Mark E
    Question:
Husqvarna 435 Chain Saw - Very difficult to start.

    Hello,
I have a Husqvarna 435 Chain Saw that I purchased from Lowes about a year ago and I have only used it a couple of times.

The problem I have is it is extremely difficult to start. I had to use it yesterday to try and clean up some tree limbs after they got knocked down during a storm. After 30 minutes trying to start it and unable to, I gave up and went to the hand saw.

This should start so easily but it does not. I believe I have the proper fuel mixture and I follow the instructions in the manual but still no luck.

I read somewhere that someone mentioned needing to adjust the low idle scree 1/4 turn but I did not see any details on how to get to it. Sounds like you have to fabricate some special tool just to turn the screw.

Does anyone have good advice on how to adjust this so it will start?

Also, the pull rope seems to stick from time to time. Any idea's on that would be most appreciated as well.

At this point I would be hard pressed to recommend any Husqvarna product but I guess I'll reserve final judgement until I get to the bottom of the issues.

    Thanks,
    Mark
