    Details:

    I recently bought an ST227P snow blower and for the first time I barely finished clearing the path and the Augers stopped working. I noticed a burnt smell after a few sparks and with a little research I pin pointed that the issue was with the Auger Belt (part no: 581 83 24-01 IMPELLER BELT) having slipped off. The belt is frayed and am also suspecting some anomaly with a small broken piece of metal lodged in between the Shoulder Bolt and the Pully (ASM Engine).  I understand that belts are not covered under warranty but this is pathetic and rather disappointing. I have purchased 3 Husqvarna products in the past year and especially through this storm period, I am unable to use this expensive pile of metal. 

    What is Husqvarna doing about this? I have seen several posts on the company webpage and other forums complaining of the exact same issues. sad

    Purchased a 27" Husqvarna ST227P snow thrower on 11/11/14 and after using it twice it died on me while throwing 6" of snow. Turns out the drive belt for the auger snapped and I had to take it to where I purchsed it (Lowe's) they said I had to take it to an authorized dealer or they would send it out. I opted to take it to Lakeshore Hardware & tool rental Camp Rd Hamburg, NY(authorized dealer) on 1/3/15. They said they would look at it and may not be covered under warranty due to it being rubber that broke but they would do their best to see that it is under warranty. Now I'm without a snow thrower and I had to shovel a foot of snow yesterday 1/7/15 and we are due for another round tomorrow 1/9/15, while my brand new machine sits in a repair shop. This is ridiculous! I would have tried to replace the belt but they recommend it be done by a service center! I had a small Toro for 15 years and never once had it break down on me and now after spending $1,000 on this machine, which I do really like when it worked, I am left waiting for it to be repaired. In my opinion Lowe's should have given me a new machine when I returned it. Now I have to worry about this one breaking a belt again in the near future and have to go without one again while it is in the shop!     I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW HUSQVARNA ST230E SNOW BLOWER FROM LOWES. I PAID $1400.00 FOR IT. TWO WEEKS AGO I USED IT THE FIRST TIME. I WAS BLOWING LIGHT NOT. I HEARD A POP COME FROM BETWEEN THE ENGINE AND THE AUGER HOUSING. MY LOWER AUGER DRIVE PULLEY HAD BROKEN AWAY FROM THE IMPELLER DRIVE THREAD WHERE IT CONNECTS VIA METRIC THREAD. I HIT NOTHING.     I just purchased the 48" Husqvarna Snow Blade for my Husqvarna Tractor. It was shipped missing parts (Minor hex bolts, washers, hex nuts and clips) I contacted the customer support # on the web page and got sent over to Dixie Sales. They said the parts are over the Cap of what is covered under warranty and asked me to take it back and order another one? The escalation # is 92904766
    I just want the parts that were supposed to come in the box so I can put my blade together and be done with it. Its a few dollars in parts and this whole thing can be done with. Why cant this just be done rather than wasting MY Time and the shipping costs the dealer would have to pay.

    I have a 12527HV Snowblower. It was difficult to start from day 1 and I just thought it was just the way it was. Today while inspecting the machine I noticed the primer hose is broken in half. Is this a warrantied item? I purchased the machine about a year ago and only used it about 3 times. Also, the cotter pin for the auger control fell out the last time I used the machine. I currently have a paperclip holding the lever in place. Would HV be able to send me these 2 items in the mail so I can install? I do not have a vehicle capable of bringing it to a service center.

    This was my 1st email on 2/27/12.I've attempting to get a resolution ever since. One thing I need is the date of last delivery , by Lowes to my house after repair in Romulous. I was told by Dixiesales that when they recieved that info they would start my warranty at that date.
    Can you provide me with the Husqvarna Corp customer service (rather than some some subcontractor) email address witch I haven't been able to get any where.

    What I am requesting is a updated warranty that starts on the day I receive a working machine.

    This is the time line of what I have experienced:

    Ordered 1830HV over phone on 11/17/11 using new Lowes credit card. “#……5217) Order #3505152

    Said would be in within 10 days

    Paid balance of card on 12/1/11

    Picked up at store #0695 on 12/27/11

    At that time they said they could not give me a receipt

    Discovered defect on machine on 12/30/11

    At some point in all this I registered a complaint (concerning the defect) with Husqvarna (complaint #929901644).

    Called Lowes who said to take it to local repair facility because it would be faster than having them ship it to their conntracted repair facility in Romulus (90 miles away) I told them the local shop no longer worked on them, Lowes said they did called them to verify then called me back. I called shop myself & they said they didn’t work on LCT motors – called back Lowes, related the info and they said they would send it to Romulus and I would just have to take my chances as to when I would get it back.

    After thinking it over I called Lowes and asked them to order me another machine since this seemed a lot of trouble for something I had paid for and hadn’t even started yet.

    They said they would and charged me for a 2nd machine.

    I called 1 week later and they said they couldn’t get it because it was discontinued.
    That left the choice of sending it to Romulus. Lowes picked it up & took it to Romulus & I received no papers indicating the pick-up.

    After another 10 days or so (worrying about a having to shovel & give my self a heart attack, which is why I got the snow blower in the 1st place) I talked to asst. manger Mike T at Lowes. with my concerns & he said he would provide a loaner if it snowed.

    I finally received the repaired machine around 1/10/12
    What I am requesting, as I said at the beginning, is a updated warranty starting on the day I receive a working machine 1/10/12

    While following the owners manual's instructions to check the tightness of all
    bolts, I discovered that one of the 3 - 6mm bolts attaching the Recoil Starter
    Assembly-Snow (parttM29299) to the Blower Housing Assembly, Electric-Snow
    (#429302) was striped. After inserting a new 6mm bolt I found that the blind nut
    in the Blower Housing Assembly, Electric-Snow (#429302) was also striped.
    The Blower Housing Assembly, Electric-Snow (#429302 needs to be replaced in
    order to get flawless blind nuts.
    Please repair.
    I could see the possible cause of this as being that the Recoil Starter Assembly-
    Snow (part#429299) cutout for the bolt does not allow enough room to insert the
    bolt straight in while using a socket - only at an angle - and thus would cause the
    resulting cross-threading to occur.

    I just purchased in Nov. 2016 a Husqvarna ST224 snowblower, I have used it four times and each time the engine dies and backfires under a load. What kind of warranty do I have???

    I've tried everything backing down the choke cutting the throttle back and it stills cracks and backfires, sometimes even just engaging the auger.

    I need to know what is wrong with this machine a.s.a.p.

    I have a snow blower 1830 hv and when i was using it i noticed that when i had both the drive handle down and the auger handle down at the same time i cant move the the chute position unless i let go and it stops. I had a older blower and if you pushed down on both handle it would lock the others so i could use it one handed and turn the chute. Does anyone no if this should be the same with this blower and is there an adjustment to correct it.
