Service & Maintenance Question posted July 4, 2013 by Robert Bessette
    Question:
Just got a new YTH22V46. Mower runs great however the deck height is way too low for fescue and I can only cut on level 6 (highest). Is it recommended to use the leveling adjustments to raise the entire deck and can I get one inch rise overall and have some flexibility based on time of the season? Please advise. No scalping allowed.....

    Question:
I have a Husqvarna 2348LS mower. 10 yrs old. Both steering draglinks worn, so I bought 2 new from dealer but got them mixed up somehow. Draglink LH is part 532 19 47-40 and draglink RH is 532 19 47-41. One of the two draglinks have a 1: blotch of red paint on one end. (one of the old ones did too). But only ONE draglink and only on One end of it. Where does that end go? Right-forward,right-rearward or left side?

    Question:
My 3-year-old automatic 46” riding lawnmower doesn’t sound right, runs slow, and struggles up hills. I’ve clean it, greased it, worked the air bubbles out of the transmission fluid, but it still struggles. I’ve had the annual service done every year and I’ve replaced the mulching blades. Should I not have installed mulching blades? I’ve been thrilled with my Husqvarna chainsaw, leaf blower, and weedwacker. I considered myself a Husqvarna man, but I regret spending $1609 on this Mower and Husqvarna doesn’t have a phone number where I can talk to someone. Help.

    Question:
Motion Drive Belt Came Off and is Wedged Between Pulley and Transmission - Help!

42" Riding Lawn Mower (Model YTH22V42, product 960430100): Motion drive belt jumped off transmission input pulley (under battery) and is wedged tightly between the lower side of the pulley and transmission casing.

How do I remove the transmission input pulley?

Are there any other suggestions on how to un-wedge the motion drive belt?

    Thank you!

How to troubleshoot keyless Smartswitch ignition...23
Service & Maintenance Question posted October 10, 2016 by Ted Tanaka
    Question:
How to troubleshoot keyless Smartswitch ignition (flashes 6 times, won't start)
    Details:

I have a riding lawn mower with the SmartSwitch keyless ignition.  It worked fine for one year, now it fails to work.  I ordered a replacement switch, but it has the same behavior, which points to a wiring issue somewhere in the mower.  I also tried resetting the SmartSwitch with the 1231231231 code, but that didn't help.

    Here's what happens:

    1. Off
    2. Press it, blinks blue
    3. Enter security code
    4. Blinks green
    5. Press green button to start
    6. All buttons blink 6 times, does not start
    7. Back to blinking green

Does the 6 blinks mean something?

Any idea how to troubleshoot this?

    Thanks!

    Question:
I have a Husqvarna YTH22V46 Riding Mower. I am a newbie to riding lawn mowers. My mower blades stopped rotating with the clutch lever turned all the way counterclockwise. The owner's manual troubleshooting instructions lack step by step directions.
Possible causes listed include 1. Obstruction in clutch mechanism. Correction - Remove obstruction. 2. Worn/damaged mower drive belt. Correction - Replace mower drive belt. 3. Frozen idler pulley. Correction - Replace idler pulley. And finally 4. Frozen blade mandrel. Correction - Replace blade mandrel. I would appreciate step-by-instructions to check out each of these issues and do the suggested repairs.

Service & Maintenance Question posted July 15, 2012 by Dan Brown
    Question:
I have a Husqvarna LGT2554 lawn tractor with a cracked frame. It is broken where the transmission bolts to the frame. Both sides are broken in the same place rendering the tractor unsafe and unusable. When going in reverse the transmission swivels causing the drive belt to come off . It has damaged the plastic pulleys and the fan blades on the transmission. I almost wrecked the tractor when the drive belt jumped off( rolled down hill unexpectedly). I have noted many consumers are complaining of this. Is there a recall on this, is husqvarna doing anything like replacing /repairing this or has a class action suit been initiated (yet)? This flaw is obviously due to weak or substandard engineering and is a significant safety issue. Hopefully I will hear something shortly..as I am not at all pleased with the condition/performance of this equipment given the price I paid for it (new!).

    Thank you

    Question:
Hello everyone, new owner here, I have the YTH 1942, 42 inch deck, I recently bent the left blade and just replaced it today, my question is no matter how loose I keep the bolt, the blade does not spin freely/easily and the right blade which was not damaged spins freely/easily, upon engaging the blades they both spin, however the left blade which I just replaced, slows down much quicker than the right blade. Is it possible something else is damage or is this a normal condition?

    Thank you

    Question:
I purchased a lawn tractor (Model YTH21K46) a few years back. I'd like to find a professional service location in the west Fort Worth, TX. Any suggestions? The few places I checked either do not handle Husqvarna at all, or if they do they work on higher end professional units only.

Service & Maintenance Question posted September 8, 2018 by Carl Barlow
    Question:
I have disassembled my YTH24K48 riding lawn tractor to remove the leaking fuel tank. Mission accomplished! Now I need to install the new fuel tank and reassemble the tractor. I need step by step instructions concerning how I reassemble the tractor. I took six weeks to tear the machine down, so nothing is fresh in my mind. Needless to say, I am not a Husqvarna YTH24K48 lawn tractor expert. Any, and all, constructive ideas will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.
